Re: IMPORTANT: TO ALL DONNYBROOK PREORDER CUSTOMERS

Does this include European posting costs as well? I indeed paid a hefty 11,5 pounds for posting cost. Which made me gasp a bit when I noticed the invoice. (But in the end, it was worth it). Yet a free supplement by your hand? I cannot see how I would not want this? ;) So if I meet the above criteria...

Re: New Turn Over - card Idea.

Well, the major difference is that with one TOC you could reshuffle on the first or the last card. But if you take the endless average the TOC will be roughly halfway through the deck. Meaning that about half the units on the table would be activated each turn. With two TOC's you remove a bit of the...

New Turn Over - card Idea.

I've read some posts and reviews about the turn-over card (TOC) to be a bit too random for people. I've playtested the card system with a similar game setting before I got the original rules and the some of us thought it was indeed a bit off puting at times. We had a few turns where the TOC was in t...

Rule questions

I got the Donnybrook book! I think its lovely. Colourful, pleasantly written, loads of options, army lists and all are very nice. I just got a few questions after reading though. The pike weapons grant first strike when "not shaken/ when steady". Does this include pikemen in open order? I assume tha...

Re: Donnybrook - miniatures.

Nice! Do you plan to take many types of zombies? And perhaps you could even make the zombies AI-driven for solo play ;) @ Dave: I hardly dare to ask you due to my unknowing noob-ness. But do you mean the Foundry -French Revolution section? Or am I missing something? (Sorry  ) The miniatures do...

Re: Donnybrook - miniatures.

Thank you for your reply! this is a great help. That I shouldn't be too precise with the weapon loadout helps a lot. I am currently looking at the range of Redoubt Enterprices for the cultists. Pirates, axemen, clubmen, all kinds of good stuff. Albeit a little pricy for I do need a lot of them. But ...

Donnybrook - miniatures.

Hi there! A new player here. I got inspired by the articles in WI about Donnybrook, the 'Bokkenrijders' and the wonderful miniatures shown on the many pages. For me, a quick skirmish game with random activation and a lot of character was just the thing. I can see me playing this with friends, at dem...
