Warfare Miniatures Flag Sizes

Is it my imagination or have these flags got a lot larger. Got some sheets today with each individual flag being 4 inches wide ( before folding)by 2 inches (pole length). I know flags in this period were big but these look like 54mm rather than 28mm.
Just thought I would check.

Re: Flodden

If there was ever a crying need for an accurate and complete range it is Flodden Scots in 28mm. The Assault Group will be doing them in due course but it may be some time.

Re: FOUR EMPIRES - R2E Crimean supplement

Can you give me an idea on proposed basing for both Crimean and ACW supplements?
Thanks in advance.

No Angus is right, GMB do ACW, Napoleonic and WSS as well as ECW. Unfortunately I do not have the current address and was about to ask the same question.

Barry, the Perth Wargames club would be happy to help playtest. In particular two members and myself have large armies including virtually the whole of the Allied and French armies at waterloo.

Barry, i for one am fairly neutral on the question of dice and would tend to judge the rules on other factors. Playability and period feel are for example more key for me.

Cavalry Charging

Played our first game of blb last night with a good time being had by all. Not surprsingly a few situations came up that we would like to clarify. a) where cavalry are hit while statioary we could not see that this made any difference in the subsequent melee. b) whre a cavalry unit is two squadrons ...

Got my rules through the post and am well pleased - an excellent effort. Even found some of my figures featured ( the standard bearers leading the clans at Killiecrankie). From the display at the Perth museum if I am not mistaken.
