Charge distance in terrain

A rules question; a charging model moves 6” in the charge phase. Is the affected by terrain? We played that it was, but the rules don’t say.

Hello all, Recently acquired Donnybrook and Donnybrook at Sea with a view to using them for Pirate games. ~I’ve had a couple of test games to get the hang of the rules. One thing puzzles me.
