Well, this has taken some time to complete, but it is probably my best unit so far, hope you like it. More pictures can be seen at my blog

Dan Schorr also says that the Fynske regiment (both 1 and 2) had green coats with yellow cuffs and lining (already in 1675) in his "Danish Army 1675 - 79"

Good info there Ronan! Thanks! In Sweden the Bohusläns dragoons had green coats with yellow cuffs from 1689 and onwards. At least in 1675 the finnish regiment Savolax had green coats with white cuffs but in 1683 they had blue coats with red cuffs. Later during the GNW (1718 - 1720) Åbo läns and Nyla...

Nice ones, who made the infantry, Artizan?

What rules do you use when playing with these?

Those are amazing oathman, really lovely work! I have been looking for figures to make that Mazepa and Karl XII diorama myself (but in 28mm) but have never found any miniatures to fit, and my greenstuff talent is, well limited I guess ;) I really think you do mr Cederströms painting justice! But whe...

A blog!

I've been thinking about it for a while and recently I took the big step and created a blog of my own! Main interests are WWII (or FoW if you rather call it that  ) and obvious the period 1660 - 1721, more precisely in my case the scanian war (1675 - 1679) and the GNW. These two periods will b...

Hm, I think you are right, but as you said, very misleading! You have the swedish version I see, or maybe theres just a swedish version for the scanian war, anyway. No, "kant" means (directly translated) "edge", but in the context it is the same as what I mean with stripe or line. The word for vest ...

Yeah I think so too, but you're always hoping... I've found that Dan Schorrs article (or essay perhaps) is very good though. No plates but I can live with the text only. One question on the swedes though... In Höglunds book, both in the text and in the plates, there is a stripe or lining (I d...

To complement what hwicce said it is more likely that almost exclusively the regiments in germany and balticum wore some kind of grenadier mitre and the native swedish regiments (the "indelta") wore the tricorne. Some indelta regiments that did recieve grenadier mitres also recieved tricornes at the...

Has anyone yet tried this with 15mm figures? (no, not tanks!)

What strength of the tone would suit best do you think?
