Re: NO BULLSHIT - HERE THEY ARE!

You all beat me to it...

As Friedrich says I think they used hooks, if I'm not mistaken theres a reference to at least the lower part of the coat being held together like this in Lars-Eric Höglund and Åke Sallnäs book.

Re: NO BULLSHIT - HERE THEY ARE!

I think you are right fogleman, although I am no expert, Dan Schorr probably knows best. One of the few remaining uniforms is thos one, belonging to Carl Wilhelm Drakenhielm, a lieutenant with the Södermanlands regemente. He was killed in Norway in 1718. http://blogg.tacitus.nu/wp-content/uploads/20...

Re: Playtest pix of the Cultists fighting simple townsfolk

So, the assistance of the 7 are required again... ;) Me and the others at Yggdrasil would love to playtest the rules! You've actually got me quite excited about these rules with all those teasing pics. And this might be the perfect starting point for that long overdue Scanian Wars project...and a li...

Re: Battle of Gadebusch 1712

I would be interested in your ORBAT if possible. Hi! Sorry for not getting back to you earlier! No I didn't do any tweaks to the swedes, just used the rules from the book. And yeah, they are a very powerful army ;) Here is the OOB I used, unfortunately in Swedish but I think you'll get it ;) Svensk...

Battle of Gadebusch 1712

It's been a long time since I visited this forum, but thought I would share this. Today me and some friends recreated the Battle of Gadebusch in 1712, almost exactly 300 years ago. The battle would be the last big battle and Swedish victory during the Great Northern War. I wont go too much into deta...

Re: GNW or the Anti-Swedish Alliance

Wow, that's alot of troops you're getting! Well, for uniforms the best you can get are these books from Acedia Press http://www.acedia.se/engbok.htm They have all the information you need. Unfortunately nothing on the danes though but Dan Schorr has an excellent document on that too. For OOB...

Re: CAN NOW BE PRE ORDERED

My copy arrived sometimes this week (I wasn't home waiting by the mailbox though) and I really haven't had any time too read through it. But from what I've seen it looks fantastic! Can't wait to use it to kick some danish arse

One tiny typo though, my last name is misspelled...

I voted for the 100 days campaign, mainly because this is what I collect and play myself (thank you Michael and Alan Perry!)

But I'm also interested in the Egyptian campaign, so I guess that would be half a vote on the revolutionary period.

These are really nice Ray, as we've come to expect! Wish my own troops would look as nice! 8)

But is it just me that thinks the reins looks a bit odd, isn't it possible to bend them a bit perhaps?

Stomping is such a harsh word, as I understand "liberating" is the term we should use nowadays.

But that's all in the past, we're all friends now. And I'll much rather be called a "norwegian" than a "nollåtta" (slang for someone from Stockholm)
