Many thanks Bryce - I'll take a look at their stuff. A "Noch squeeze bottle applicator" sounds a bit kinky :D

Very nice Bryce.

Lovely painting and great bases. Are you willing to reveal what brands of flock / static grass you used? I really like the look you've achieved there.

They're really lovely Clarence.

I like the mix of poses for the ragged look - I'm planning something similar to get the right 'mob' like appearance for my c.1792-93 French National Guard battalions.

Thank you for the generous comments gentlemen. My eyesight isn't too flash, but I've discovered using a dark block shade - and then the main colour on top, leaving a little of the dark shade showing around the 'edges' (especially on cuffs and other facings), tricks the eye (at least from a distance)...

French Revolutionary Wars - Austrians

Well - here goes. First unit finished. These have featured in a couple of Eureka Miniatures adverts, but I've added a couple of stands since then. 32 figures based in fours for a slightly tweaked version of Republic to Empire. Second battalion underway... My rather 'impressionist' painting style wor...

I have purchased all my dice from the above online retailer including D-avs and, for the arithmetically challenged like me, genuine D-3s.

They will post anywhere.

Ooooh - they look nice Jim. Thanks for the 'heads up'.

Read all 4 pages of that TMP thread (I'm assuming I got the right one...) during my lunch break today. Good grief.... What with all the raging about the pros and cons of cheaper PDF downloads, and whether or not 'glossy' rules are nothing more than either a) naked profiteering or b) a smoke ...

Average Dice are a bit of a WRG and Bruce Quarrie Nap rules throw back and seem to have fallen out of fashion these days. In fact I think it's quite hard to find them commercially outside of the UK (more than happy to be informed otherwise?). I certainly can't recall any of the fancy 'glitter' / 'ma...
