Hello Scruff For central Europe, Saxony to be more precise, take a look at the diorama these guys are building: http://www.croebern-1813.de/40199/41551.html You may also be interested in what Grand Manner http://www.grandmanner.co.uk are starting to put out in their 28mm Napoleonic Europe range. Anyone know a UK vendor for Hudson and Allen? Hello Cameronian I started this ... so ... I got my Hudson & Allen buildings from Vatican Enterprises who make the buildings. They are based in the US and I have had excellent service from them - I live in NZ. Their website is http://www.wargamescenics....

Gunter, The flags are around 45mm along the pole. Rick then sizes the rest of the flag accordingly. Yes, they are on the cotton or what many will call 'material'. One other thing I ask Rick do to is to turn OFF his white color. It has shading in it and I prefer the pure white look on most of my fla...

Hello Ray I see. With a foot print of 16.5" by 11.0" it will do for general gaming for me. Of course I also have an as yet unpainted "Late Medieval Village Set Building #3" which will very easily extend the village a little if more is required. You can see a picture of this at: http://www.wargamesce...

I can. Foundry figures sold singly, all well cast and some of the fastest service out there. Happy days ... though I never really took advantage.

It's true - you never know what you've got 'til it's gone!!

Howdies Dave Thank you for the compliments on my site. Sadly there is only so much time and I fear that actual figure painting looses out. But it's not updating the site that steals the time, but rather checking all those other sites and forums (such as this one!) that sucks the minutes and hours aw...

Hello Günter The Hudson & Allen are advertised as 25mm on the http://www.wargamescenics.com/ site. And I'm sure the players at the Whitburn game wont mind if your Saxons are not the exact units that fought at Gorodetschna. They'll be much closer than any other stand-ins. Salute von Peter hims...

Re: A bed for the night

Hi Peter, Is this just part of the European village??? I really like this, especially the cobbled enterance and courtyard. After a long days march I could see the officer's renting rooms at this inn and having their horses cared for in the attached stables. A nice piece of terrain  Ray. Hello...

A European village

I've finally finished the Hudson & Allen European village. Well actually all I did was apply a few tufts to the finished product but in my defence those tufts are critical to the look of the final item. Details and a few pictures can be seen at: http://web.mac.com/nataliendpeter/Site/25mm_Eur...

When you are done are you interested in developing a 10mm version? What I can see at the moment is to just change the 28mm distances from inches to millimetres.

Happy to give you a hand if you need it.

Cheers
Inches to millimeters or centimeters?

As there seems to be no 10mm players near where I live, I'm collecting both sides - French and British + Aliies. So a bit more painting for me. I think that being self contained is the best policy anyway. You can still mix in with other folks figures but if your gaming buddy suddenly becomes unavai...

This is beginning to sound like the birth of the baby Jesus with yourself and Clarance playing the roles of Joseph & Mary.  Which one is Joseph and which is Mary?!
