I am sure it will be the definitive reference for the Dutch (like his French books), but I think I'll wait to hear more detailed reviews as for me 50 quid is a bit eye-watering when I probably have some of the info in disparate sources already.

Nice unit; are the colours and uniforms conjectural? (I've nothing against that by the way!)

As a side note McGillicuddy is the Anglicisation of Mac Giolla Mhochuda, literally "Son of the servant of (St.) Mochuda"

That's interesting Dan, I didn't pick that up from the material I was using (possibly because the cuffs are often covered by gloves). Can you expand on this?

To me it is Welfare Miniatures in a way.

I think the Copplestones are probably too tall for mixing in the same unit.

though at the moment they appear to out of order, in the way computers order numbers eg 1, 10, 11, 12, 13 ,14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 2, 20, 21 etc.
I'm sure there's a name for that but it escapes me.
