Lovely stuff sir. I've a notion for Killiecrankie in 10mm so your Purcell's are an inspiration.

Re: Minifigs anyone?

Thanks gents. I keep finding neglected Minifigs around the place so paint them up as a distraction. I like Hinchcliffe too, in fact I just got some from them some weeks back, radically different from the '70s and 80s style.

I'm off to Targe tomorrow (DVWP) after some odds and ends.

Re: Minifigs anyone?

For the lack of something better to do, thought I'd replace the pics seeing as how I re-located them some time ago. The army's been updated anyhow; too lazy to drag 'em out for a group photo so it's montages instead: Argyll and Dragoons: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r221/cameronian/28mm/SherGo...

Re: WSS French

I've used them completely out of context; just fancied having them and a change from all those white uniforms. The regiment was raised in 1744, disbanded around 1762(?)

Re: A Painting Mutiny?

I'm intrigued by this term 'Wargame Standard' and would like to know where I could get a copy of it or a definition of it which is accepted by the wargaming or table-top gaming community globally.

Re: A doubt about the English Dragons

The Dragoon Guards should not be forgotten, though I am led to believe that only one regiment was involved in the Hundred Days. These were regiments of horse (seven I believe) converted to dragoons for reasons of economy around 1751 but given the fancy name to lessen the blow to their pride. All wou...

Keeping it up I see ;) Just as well they're 15s or you'd be living outside in a wheelie bin.

Mexican-American War, Sorry!

I know, but doesn't really fit anywhere else. Rapidly approaching the end of the Mexican side of a small project trouble is, I'm getting hooked. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r221/cameronian/28mm/LtCav01_zps3144a155.jpg The Light Mounted Regiment of Mexico.
