Re: Historicon 2013 ALL CHANGE!

Barry: I think that your many supporters in the USA would prefer to see one of your awesome BLB games with Warfare Miniatures - we do not get many opportunities to see either at American conventions.

Re: Rebasing Highlander question

Does anyone have a problem with two different units in an army having the same frontage, but the "firing line" posed unit has a deeper base than the "marching line" posed unit in order to protect the bayonets? I'm thinking that the depth doesn't matter that much as long as the frontage is the same f...

I used the two dogs that come with the Frederick the Great Playing The Flute Vignette and they were just what I was looking for. 8) They look more like hunting dogs such as what you might see on a fox hunt, and this is what I would imagine the upper class would take with them if they were so incline...

R2E Historicon Game

I have been following Clarence's blog articles on the manufacturing of his terrain boards for the R2E game at Historicon. Let me be the first one to congratulate Clarence and Barry for winning several awards for their Historicon games. http://tyler.provick.ca/?p=1016 The link will take you to a game...

Front Rank has some nice wagons in its 18th Century range. They also have the French Napoleonic limber teams in bicorn and in shako. Other ranges mentioned that are good: Hinchcliffe, Old Glory, Bicorne and Perry AWI. If you can't find what you need in the Hinchcliffe range, then there is no hope fo...

One other possibility is that the retailer needs liquidity and thus is willing to sell his boxes of plastic figures at a discount in order to turn the inventory into cash.

Well Barry, if you are tired of Waterloo, how about terrain boards for Austerlitz?

I would love to see how you would tackle that project.

There was a link on TMP to someone's flikr or photobucket album with lots of pictures.

BTW, I liked your Napoleonic artillery park idea so much that I borrowed it for my SYW army. What you have done with artillery has to be one of the most creative things that I have ever scene in wargaming.

How did your R2E game at Carronade turn out? I've seen a few piccies on the internet at various sites and it looked great. I bought the rules several weeks ago and must say that I am blown away at the high production values, the rules explanations and even details such as the photo credits in the ba...
