Re: Instant figures from a pot!
I have heard rumblings from the depths of darkest Lanarkshire that certain Mr PC is NOT impressed by dipping you figures in a tin of sludge  Anyone used it??
I don't see the point of gripping your figures with a pair of pliers and dunking them into floor polish. There are a a few old hands on the forum who will remember the last great debate within SESWC about Claymore money going to charity. I have never supported the idea. By all means give a charity some free space at the show and allow those attending to contribute if they want to. I am not entirely at ...

Even better use 6mm and you can do the whole battle
I'm working my way through some Baccus (lovely little figures and you can even tell what they're supposed to be). The units are based as a single battaion on 60x30 mm.

Barry A well constructed and reasoned article. I would argue that there is no such thing as a bad set of rules, only rule sets that we don't like. I have heard so much BS over the years about realism. At best they are an informed writer's interpretation, at worst they are based on reading the histor...

A man leaves his bagpipes in his car. He remembers he forgot to lock the door and rushes back to his car ... too late, someone has left another set  At the moment my collection includes English Border pipes, Leicestershire small pipes, English medieval Great Pipes and German Hummelschen. All pl...

Barry You don't say whether it is 28mm or 15mm. For 28s the frontage per figure is 15mm. A stand is 40 mm deep in two ranks. French are 36 figure battalions for line (6 stands of 6 figures) although I have seen them in 32 figure battalions (4 stands of eight). The convention for 'Gilder' style units...
