We are gaming a 10mm eatern front game in WW1, I'll be sitting at the table being stuffed by outrageous amounts of German artillery.

Its very difficult to find any info about uniform colours, I was talking to a couple of guys at the L&L and they thought that as the method of decking out their retinue troops in livery colours in England was so taken for granted there was no reason to suppose that the practice was not carried out u...

Scots colours at Flodden

Guys, Has anyone any idea of specific colours that may have been worn during the Flodden campaign by the Scots pikemen, I have been painting figs using colour schemes for liveries of Scots nobles present, but I was wondering about the towns and guilds that also provided contingents, any ideas? :?: D...

Irish guards etc

Guys,
I am currently (slowly) building up an Irish Jacobite force presently a unit of Irish guards and nearly finished Grand Prior Regt. of foot.
My question is could I use these units in other late 17th century armies ie Jame's army at the time of the Glorious revolution?

Guys, A few centuries our club used to play quite lot of rennaiassance wargames using Tercio and WRG (George Guss) rules. Interest is being shown by a couple of boys at the club, I still have my old rules & army list booklets for the above rules, however has anyone either used or heard of a set of r...

Excellent,
I can start using them now ,and build up my force by buying some units using 7yw figs.
Rulesets we're thinking of using are Koenig Kreig or Warfare in the age of reason. Anyone used either?

Malburian French

Guys,
I have some 15mm French figs I use for gaming the Malburian wars, some of the guys at our club want to try gaming the 7YW, was there a great deal of difference in French uniform in the two periods, if not do you think that I could get away with using my Malburian troops as 7yw?
