Hi Barry, I only just noticed your question about the parchment that I used in my newsletter, sorry about not replying sooner. The page is made in Microsoft Publisher and is just a rectangle filled with a graduated pattern fading from Dark to light as it goes into the middle. There are various angle...

Does this mean that instead of a Mad Baron's army we're now going to have to suffer a Mad Barry's army?

Cheers
Dave

ps; I'm finding it hard waiting for March.

It's not just Anastasia we will be looking for, rumour has it that the Revolting Reds botched the job on the Royal Family and they managed to flee into Central Asia. Colin already has the whole family and they have appeared in many games in our BoB campaign. I would post a pic but I don't think I ca...

Sorry guys, I forgot to add this link to my last message http://www.fighting15s.co.uk/eureka.html If you want any Eureka figures then I would suggest getting them from Ian Marsh at this company. Really nice guy and deserves all our support, plus it saves the postage from OZ. Barry, Nic has often tur...

Peter, Colin already has these figures from Eureka we used them in our Indian Mutiny game at Kirrimuir. He will probably be bringing them up to the next game as this type of character is fairly generic to the whole region. Bob, the Tchanka fits in perfectly with the Copplestone figures. Colin alread...

Kettermanski might want to look at these little beauties and recruit some of them into his army, I know a couple of other comrades have.

Rumours abound that the Emperor is dead, this is patently untrue. The Emperor was taken off the battle field suffering from exhaustion after a string of victories over the allies. He now lies resting on an island in the middle of a lake in France and will reappear again should his country need him. ...

Sounds like Prince Andrei has been hitting the vodka again. Victory against Kellerman! NEVER. Tell the Russian soldiers to use the flags to bind up the many wounds they received. And as for those Pesky Prussians, did they actually do anything apart from hide in a wood for the whole of the battle? Ch...

Hi Barry, I have just had a look at the pics of the weekend game, I just love the broadside shot and what you have done with it. The only downside is that ship sunk just after this. Typical sneaky Allied trick ganging up on a poor Frenchman, why don't you fight man to man?

Urban Mamoth had stalls at both events and I spoke to John just before we left and he thought they did at least three times the businees at Targe than they did at Skelp, if that's any indication of how things went. I must email Frank Hammond and see how he got on at Skelp, this would have been his f...

I have to agree with everyones comments above, Targe was an excellent show, as it has been for the last 19 years under a different name. Colin and myself had a great time putting on our Indian Mutiny game and talking to all the people that seemed so interested in what was going on. We spent more tim...

So if you do Crimean War how much of a leap would it be to do the Franco-Prussian War with the rules you have? Who makes good figures in 25/28mm? I know about the Foundry ones but does anyone else? 18th Century Guy (yes, this is late 19th Century but I've always like the FPW) Mirleton do various Ita...

Any nominees for the honour roll Marshal Soult??? I made sure I included as many of your performing flees as possible on the list!!! You missed out Morands division which although isolated and without the artillery support it was supposed to have (fiendish alllied conspiracy not bringing them along)...
