New range of 1866 figures from Helion

I've just received a provisonal listing of a new 25/28mm range of 1866 figures from Helion. This is a brand new range and not a re-issue of their range from the late 90's. The provisional listing is as follows: :D Prussian Line Infantry advancing/charging Prussian Ulans (reserve and charging) Prussi...

Yep, I can fully recommend them :D . I bought the Jonkopings Reg set at the Derby show the other weekend and well worth the money, a nice size, great quality and unlike Barry's you don't need a Front Rank size Ensign to carry 'em  Well they do say big is beautiful, eh Barry

Barry, all I did was to follow the link in the original post at the top to the Boyne Valley Ltd and went to their Book Store and ordered a copy (including the Drummer boy one but hasn't really any illustrations) via pay pal. The 2 books came to a total of 28.23 Euros. The Guide book 12.99 Euros, the...

GNW - Swedish Site

After searching on another website on earlier Swedish wars, I came across this one that appears to be a potted history of the GNW in Swedish that I thought may be of interest to others in view that it has one or nice illustrations on it, in fact Barry, I EXPECT  to see one or two vignettes on y...

Battle of the Boyne 1690: A guide to the Battlefield

If like me, Amazon have let you down in getting this book, I've just clicked on The Boyne Valley Honey Company website and it is now working and available  . Look in their Book Store and there it is along with A Drummer Boys Story recently published. This last one appears to be for younger read...

The good news is that Front Rank are going to do the GNW period, the bad news is it may be in a years time but you should be able to use some of their WSS range in the mean time. The more gamers contact them about GNW the better as that will spure Front Rank into action.
