Re: First blog ever!

Hello. You have a very interesting Blog, Dave and your painted models are great. Some time ago I bought some models from Eureka Miniatures, from the Italian Campaing series, and they are wonderful models but the cost is... I have no word for it when I saw the P & P cost. I am thinking about to write...

Re: New ebor WSS mounted officer and dolly size comparison

Eugenio/Tim, you are the only one following the original thread, I think. The NEW EBOR WSS FIGURES are a very welcomed adition to our gaming world, particularly if he is going to touch those forgotten Armies like the Portuguese or Spanish and not only the "Big Two". The models I have seen at the mom...

Re: OK - Getting into my stride with these minis now

It has been a very good idea, Barry, to put pictures of your units; you are providing a lot of inspiration (and an uniform guide at the same time :D ). Your painting is extraordinary.

Re: 28mm unit sizes for WSS

The news about the Spanish Army is a GREAT, GREAT, news; at last, someone is interested in making this colorful and hard fighting Army. There was an uniform of the old style and a new one, more French in cut, after the aplication of the "Ordenanzas de Infantería" of 1706. Of course, both type of uni...

Re: New Grenadier Storming Party

I have thought the same looking at the cavalry models, they are very big horses and of a different "cut" to the riders.

On the other hand, the assault party is very interesting and useful; I have put them in my list.

Cheers,

Juan

Re: new WSS range

Hello.
The Dragoon has a very good appearance and the horse is very "natural". It is a very interesting model, casual in its look. The Infantry dollies are promising, and I expect to see, besides the Portuguese, Spanish!!!

Re: ALL OUTSTANDING WARFARE ORDERS SHIPPED!

The problem buying by mail is that I´m not able to see what I´m buying until I have received that small white box from the postman, so I have been very surprised by these fine and thin models from Warfare Miniatures (because I have been painting Front Rank models for this period) that are also very ...

Re: Sneak peek at some new sculpts

Tim, it is better to reglue a standard to the hand that all the model to the horse... :D The group of Officers writting and sending orders has solved my problem of selecting my range of models for this Period. It is great, and a good idea from you; not all must be combatants (Have you planned looter...

Re: Why not a Six Pack

As Barry has said, I want to put a Sargent in one base and an Officer in other, so my problem is, really, about the models of the central base: there are only the standard beares and the drummer left. But I suppose that the "Mixed Packs" can help.

Re: Uniforms in the Irish Campaing 1690

Yes, Ray, you have helped me a lot. My intention is to paint Regiments for both sides/Kings of this campaing; next one, Brandenburg with the Warfare Miniature models I´m waiting for. Your battle report of The Boyne is very interesting, very near, as you say, to the real outcome (especially about the...
