Pet animals in NYW/WSS/GNW.

Do you have any information about pet animals, kept by officers or soldiers, and accompanying them on the battlefield ?
I think, that Cadogan had a dog, but I cant remeber it's breed.
It would be great to add such an animal to the stand of soldiers.

Re: NYW/WSS artillery equipment

For your artillery base, apart from the gun and number of crew you could have gabions and fascines and a group of cannonballs as Barry has mentioned.Everything else I'd keep for the Artillery Park behind the gun base.I plan to add limbers, horses, oxen and civilian workers. So how did they keep gun...

Re: British uniforms color

Well, I'm attracted by perspective of different shades of red in one regiment. I wanted only to know if there is no mistake in description of "cheap" and "expensive" colors.

British uniforms color

Hi, I'm confused when reading about British uniforms shade. Most sources says, that during WSS infantry and dragoons privates wore uniforms of light shade of red, as that were made of cheaper fabric, while officers and horse regiment troopers had darker coats. In Osprey's "Marlborough Army" the diff...
