Uniforms: I think anything from White through to Mid grey will be ok. I don't believe there was a regulation colour at this stage and the various sources I have read are not particularly prescriptive. Interestingly when browsing through the details in Sapherson's Dutch Army of William III any random...

No Lindsay you did not read it wrong! I figured that anyone daft enough to field a Highland army and use these rules needed some kind of incentive to get into combat! Otherwise, they would get shot to pieces and run away every time! There is a precedent for the `situation' you created in the post wh...

Visited DTS Models in EK tonight where they run a FoW evening twice a week. Very helpful guys who walked me through my latest `triumph' 8) ! Again the unlucky victims were Fallschirmjager who were pummelled by a Mid War `Italian Theatre' British force. Love those Churchills! For a fun and fas...

Hi Andy, I don't think any questions are stupid and am glad to answer. 1. Please try ULB for smaller scale battles. It is not that it doesn't work it's just that it was primarily designed for the large linear battles of the late 17th early 18th century(I have another set for the GNW which is unlike ...

Rob you are most welcome!

Pulling it all together in a cohesive format reawakened my own interest in the period! That prompted me to paint more figures and now I have a demo game of the battle of Sedgemoor, so I'm happy too!!

All the best
