Partizan Press ECW Scenario Books ???

Gentlemen, I'm just beginning to start with the ECW period . . . so what I am most interested in is SMALL scenarios -- not large battles -- I'm even considering using the Sash & Saber 40mm figures. Given this, which of the three (soon to be four, I guess) Partizan Press Gaming Scenario volumes would...

Warrior Pole,

From a comment made by Barry, I believe that BLB was printed somewhere in Europe. It is still either "in transit" or hasn't yet cleared Customs . . . but it most definitely is not yet available in the US.

The "commercial" set of "Beneath the Lily Banners" has been printed but is not yet in the UK. It is the new improved version of the older pdf set called "Under the Lily Banners" (note that the name has been changed because of confusion with a boardgame with a very similar title). Whether Barry Hilto...

Clarence,

Yes indeed . . . I wonder who the artist might be who created that wonderful image?

(note: Time for you to take a bow, Clarence).

Barry,

I'm still exploring, but so far everything looks good . . . except that BLB isn't yet available of course.

Barry, As an aside to Rays last post, while many people enjoy doing all of the research to find out details such as uniform info and OBs, many of us don't have the time, interest or access to sources in order to do so. Thus I think having some way of presenting that information is an excellent idea ...

Table Top Teaser using ULB

It isn't my blog . . . but I came across "Simon Lee's" blog with an action using "Under the Lily Banners" to play the "Rear Guard" Table Top Teaser scenario. To read it (and see the photos) go to: http://mywargamingcorner.blogspot.com/ It is the March 13, 2008 post . . . and apparently the figures a...

Barry,

Some questions about the "new site":

Will the URL (web address) be the same as the one we are currently using?

Or will we have to go to a different URL once the change occurs?

Barry, When you do switch over to the new site will the URL change? Will these URLs that we've been using just take us to the new site? Or will we use these "old" URLs and will they take us to the new site? Also, any better idea as to when we can order "Beneath the Lily Banners" from you? -- Jeff

Edward,

As a fellow Canadian don't you think that Barry should consider sending us our copies at a deep discount in order to make inroads into the lucrative "North American Market"?

*grin*

One option is to pick a particular SECTION of the battle. For example, in the ACW, I staged a "Little Round Top" scenario instead of trying to duplicate the whole of Gettysburg.

Pat, I did get your email (and passed it on to Stuart), even though my email program filtered it out as SPAM (which it definitely isn't). But, just in case my email back to you is filtered out as spam as well, I thought I'd let you know that your email got through. Thank you for your response. Unfor...
