Hi, guys. I actually got some sample packs of precast Germans in the mail and found the models to be very good for the most part. Some had anatomy issues, but the line is a work inprogress and I think they intend to weed out such models. My only problem was they seem to vary in scale and most are la...

The event cards are great, Barry. I've always used similar methods in my games, taken from an old Featherstone book. They really add a great dimension to the game.

Now if we could just get your mods for the ECW...

Go figure. I'm an American and I'm more interested in collecting for the ECW than the ACW. I have often thought about an ACW skirmish project, but the larger scale battles don't appeal as much to me. The ACW lacks the combined arms aspects of many other periods as even the cavalry primarily fought d...

Wargames Foundry has a free set that might be worth a look:

I've played some small games with the rules and they were a lot of fun. The set plays quickly and seems to capture the feel of the period pretty well.

Some of us had a corrupted link. Click on the link and when you get the error, look at the URL in your browser address bar. Delete the last two characters of the URL and hit enter. That should work!

I'd be in! I'm just starting a WWII project and would love to get into a campaing - especially if it meant I didn't have to paint all of the models!

Piquet is a game I wouldn't have liked after only one or two sessions! After four or five games I got the hang of it and appreciate how it works. I think you have to dedicate more time to a set before judging it fairly. That being said, I haven't played FOW at all yet, but I was looking for a simple...

Glad to Hear That

I'm glad to hear that. I just ordered a copy of the game last night. I was looking for a simple set of rules and they seemed to fit what I wanted. BTW, They have a great website!
