Ive got the 1987 edition, looks like it's just been typed out on a typewriter it's got lots of uniform discriptions but very little drawings just your imagination needed to picture the uniforms but lots on flags especially the cavalry it's a great little booklet used it many a time

Was it because the fusiliers were at first Artillery train guards so were just companies dotted about the brigades and wasn't really used as a full battalion on the field so had no flags? Like the grenadiers had no flags.. I could be wrong though

I think Prussians had their coats opened and pinned back revealing the coloured waist coats underneath.. I could be wrong though maybe that's from another period.... Gunfreak I'm a soldiers at ease guy like from the uniform plates u see... I like to see their full uniform without muskets in the way ...

Ordered some see what they look like 2 by 4 deep :-) Do you know the flags like Royal banner, the Scottish quarter the lion faces to the flag staff and the English 3 lions and Irish harp aswell so on the other side will the lions be facing away from the flag staff? or is it mirrored? I know this may...

So it was rubbish the nose bleed? maybe he new the game was up?, the army was ready to rebel? Or he actually thought let's not start another civil war? I can just imagine the officers thinking we're is the king!? Someone saying he's gone running with a nose bleed so don't waist your troops lives on ...

Bicorne miniatures

Does anyone have any ECW Bicorne miniatures? If so do they come with the heads fixed or do you glue them on? Just wounding because I see they do seperate head ranges. Says heads are £3.50 for 5 abit steep so is it 5 sprues with 5 heads or is it just 5 heads? I want monteros as looks like broad brimm...

Could also use the Guard Francaise models for early French you could just remove the lace from the cuffs and coats as they are modelled in the earlier uniform with shoulder and hat ribbons, just a thought if your into modding miniatures and the pikes are modelled with armour aswell
