Re: World war 2 vehicles

A couple of years ago I was gaming WWII in 1/48th scale, some of my infantry were 28mm BoltAction which are 1/56th scale I believe. I didn't think there was a problem mixing the two scales. Tamiya and Bandai make/made excellent 1/48th scale WWII vehicles.

Re: Battle of Helsingborg

Hi Dannie,
I'm currently building armies for the Scanian War in 1/72nd scale and would be interested in receiving from you the translated chapter on the battle of Helsingborg. Thanks in advance.

Re: Gaming the Scania War or GNW in 1/72 scale . . .

I'm not sure if this link will work or not, I'm not at home right now but I found this picture on my daughter's computer. http://goldtoken.com/games/album?id=15769 In this picture the cavalry are mounted on two man stands (for Age of Reason rules) and all the infantry are mounted on the 1" round sta...

Re: Gaming the Scania War or GNW in 1/72 scale . . .

Yes my 1/72 scale GNW collection is rather large - now if I could only get all those figures painted! As it stands right now I've only got about 50 infantry and 50 cavalry painted. For the GNW I've got the following units mounted on their movement stands but not painted: 8 battalions of Swedish infa...

Re: Gaming the Scania War or GNW in 1/72 scale . . .

I messed up on the last two links, they should be: Russian Infantry of Peter the Great http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=1151 Zaporozhian Cossacks http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=1640 I was rather hesitant to switch to plastic figures because I never could get the...

Here are some links showing what these figures look like: Swedish Dragoons of Charles XII http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=1328 Swedish Artillery of Charles XII http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=1714 Great Northern War Swedish infantry http://www.plasticsoldierrevi...

Gaming the Scania War or GNW in 1/72 scale . . .

I've been reading Fighting Talk for about a month now but I just registered today. Is anyone here gaming these periods in 1/72nd scale? I started gaming the GNW back in the early 1990's using 25mm Dixon and Foundry miniatures, several years ago I sold all my metal 25mm miniatures and went to 1/72 sc...
