May be they felt the painting standard was not quite up to it so blurred the pic to save you embarresment  But yes, it's brilliant to see WSS back, I do miss it since the creation of the FOW magazine  If I hadn't just been made redundant last Friday I certainly would have subscribed t...

I have yet to really get in to 28mm plastics, but the promise of AWI plastic for basic types is really great news and it doesn't really encroach on anyone else's range 8) I've seen plenty of units around the web made up of both Victrix/Perry conversions so hopefully it's not going to be to much of a...

Hesse/Brunswick Officer Sash Colours?

I would be grateful if some one out there could please tell me the colour of the sash that Officer's wore in the 1690 - 1714 period for Brunswick and Hessen-Kassel troops. I have the Uniform CD from Baccus for Hessen-Kassel/Braunschweig-Wolfenbuttel/Luneburg-Celle/Hanover 1701-1714, but all the text...

A fantastic terrain piece, would look great with some Eureka 28mm French Chasseurs a cheval from their French Rev range, I think they have a vignette with a dismounted Chasseur that would look perfect for this setting  Duke of Plazo-Toro, this would make a brilliant back drop for advertising y...

18th Century Guy - Couldn't agree more, I started off with Trent Minis Knowing the owner (as a lot us who post on here do  ), we even put on Demo games for him to promote the range, but with next to no cavalry in the games. Yes I know both Armies were short of cav in Italy, but theres being sh...

Very nice cavalry Sheepman, I just wish Elite would bring out Austrian cavalry (as well as Grenadiers etc), as I've stalled on my 1793-99 Austrians for the last year simply due to lack of Austrian cavalry types. I bought some Trent Min Austrian Dragoons where the riders appear to be in 1792-98 unifo...
