Size of Cavalry units in ULB

Barry, you seem to go for six-figure squadrons made up into units of either 12 or 18 men. is there any reason why one should not field the odd 9-figure unit? I just like the look of three bases with the flag in the middle. Is there anything in the rule mechanics that would suggest this is a bad idea...

French Infantry Uniforms: White or Grey?

Barry,

Any suggestions as to how you do your French infantry uniforms - are they white or light grey, unbleached wool or what?

Also can you give me dimensions in mm for your WSS flags?

Many thanks

Guys - that was quick - many thanks.
Barry, any source suggestions for French dragoon uniforms and flags. Most of those that i can find are either in red facd blue or vice versa. Where do the greens and yellows come from?
All th best

French Musketeers WSS

I want to get a unit of French Musketeers for the war of the Spanish Succession. Does anyone know what the officers dress was like/ Did they have a similar tabard to the men? Front Rank's officer casting has a tabard, but some earlier sources (1690's) show the officers in just a red coat.

Stunning presentation and layout. Thank you for all your efforts. I look forward to having enough units to give them a go!If this is what you do in black and white, then the Napoleonic rules should be fantastic. (And ell worth whatever "contribution" you may require. Wel done indeed sir.

Don't shoot the drummer boy

Very helpful - I will get onto Redoubt. I think some of their ECW officers could be useful additions although they will need better heads than the loose ones supplied which seem overly small and rather "flat". Thanks again. Curassier

Drums

Abandoned drums as part of the vignette effect.
Is there any manufacturer that makes a drum separate from a drummer?
Regards. Keep us posted on the rules Barry, the taster in the War Chest look great.

Gentlemen - very helpful.
Barry - when you say you will send out rules to subscribers - i assume you mean to those who have signed up for the Newsletter updates (?)

I did sign up though i don't think i got any kind of confirmation. Just want to be sure i don't miss any rules or other vital info!

Good news on the Napoleonic rules as well. Can you give us a heads-up Barry on the unit sizes used in your Napoleonic games? Nice also to see the picture of some Calpe figures in action. I have some of these myself. They are one of the best kept secrets in Napoleonic wargaming - a range of extraordi...
