The figures are 99% Frontrank, with a couple of Foundry thrown in to break up the monotony of poses among the rank and file. Don't get me wrong, Frontrank has a decent variation of poses, but 30-man units tend to get repetitive. I am planning on using Foundry for my French because I already have 150...

The Light Division

I finished my 28mm Light Division project - 124 infantry and 3 command bases! http://www.quindia.com/studiogallerynap.htm http://www.quindia.com/graphics/gallerynap20.jpg Of course finished means I still want to add some cavalry and artillery support, but the actual Light Division as it was organize...

The Litko bases are terriffic! They are laser cut and I haven't gotten one yet that wasn't precisely cut and perfectly square (umm... except for the round ones). I use the thicker 3mm bases and they have shown no evidence of warping even when piles with glue, paint, etc. They have lots of products a...

KGL Flags

Anyone know where I can find a flag design for the 1st KGL Hussars in the Peninsula? I have copies of the 1st KGL Dragoons and think they may be the same, but none of the books I have seem to confirm that.

Perry boys arrived today, bulkier and taller (significantly so that I would not mix them with the old Foundry), but more of a match with Front Rank I had the impression that the Perry models were small... more like the LOTR range. If they look good with Frontrank, I might have to get a couple hundr...

The Frontrank models are larger than most of the Foundry figs, but I managed to mix a couple in each of my units by gluing the Foundry model to a washer and gluing that to the base... http://www.quindia.com/graphics/gallerynap03big.jpg The figure in the second rank that is closest to the camera is a...

With the kind of textbook this gallery will be, I might have to start collecting figures for this period... Keep 'em coming!

I usually work on two or three vehicles at a time so I'm not sure, but I'd say maybe two hours per tank? I'll have to pay more attention to be sure and I'll let you know - I'm planning on painting up a few StuGs soon and I will try to document the process in an article. :D
