Way back in January 2011 I purchased and downloaded a copy of BLB #1. On trying to open it I find that Adobe says it is password protected and is asking for the password. My memory is not what it was but I don't recall passwords being mentioned at time of purchase. Any ideas?

I raise a glass in your honour Sir. Lovely collection. Mostly I admire your patience and ability to maintain such a high standard over so many models over such a long period. Whereas I get bored after 30-odd figures for a DBA army!

I use Blogger but it can be an absolute pain to get pages to format properly and sizing pictures is a bit fraught; currently it won't change font colours for me. I started creating the pages in Windows 'Livewriter' and importing them into Blogger, easier to use and has a greater success rate for me....

My confusion was caused by the the following statement in Hourtoulle's book 'The Moskva, Borodino' Page 34 "2. The Light Artillery. ...they had the cavalry helmet... The Light Artillery of the Guard wore the shako..." I am now convinced that this is incorrect and that as you say Greystreak, 'Light' ...

Comrades, Does anyone happen to know if Russian light artillery companies (as distinct from the mounted companies) in 1812 were uniformed as horse artillery, or same as the heavy companies of foot artillery? My own sources are either vague, non-commital or contradictory on this point. Cheers, George
