French Dragoons 1704

Gents, I'm putting together (over a rather long period of time) a collection in 10mm of both sides for Cutt's assault on Blenheim village, and could do with help for the uniform details of the French Dragoons who were dismounted to the right of the village down to the Danube. I have Mestre de Camp a...

Re: The Road to Perdition

I must say Jim your collection is inspiring, I am in the process of working my way through pretty much the same myself, if I get to your standards I'll be chuffed :!:

Seriously Barry where do you store all your figures, I'm having to limit my 28mm as space is starting to run out. Course it doesn't help as the kids keep coming back from university with all their junk!
A breath taking unit, absolutely fantastic.

Very tempted to expand my French Rev army for the early part of Egypt when they fought the Mamalukes. More money, another army, will it ever end! I wonder if the figures would match in with Old Glory's Ottoman Turk range which would do for the bulk of the figures and /or the later French in Egypt ra...

Brigade Games, French Revolution/Egypt range

Why have I not seen these 28mm figs before?
The website isn't particularly great to navigate, but the figures themselves look fine. Hope they continue to expand the range.
Scroll right down to find the French/Mamaluke ranges. Photos there too.

Had to be the 1794/5 French Rev period for me as I have over 600 28mm infantry, 80 cavalry, two batteries of guns for the French and 200 infantry and one battery for the Austrians (don't worry. I'm working hard on the Austrians). There are even 100 of Robs Reiver Monmouth figures as Vendee Royalists...

That's what I will be doing John, and even two squadrons of Austrians should be sufficient to see off the Rev French cav (one Rgt of chasseurs, one of Hussars and two Dragoons) which during 92 - 94 tended to bugger off at the slightest twitch of an enemy cavalry's tail. I understand that the exchang...

Austrian Cavalry

Have a look at Eureka's new release on this link http://eurekamin.com.au/news.php?newsid=EkAZVlEyAuGipAoBga Hope it works, if not then look on their website. I really like their figures but what a price! especially when you consider the size of Austrian cavalry regiments of the time, but no one else...

Very nice mate, I used to have a reasonable collection of marines and Japs but sold them about two years ago. Watched Pacific last week and regretted it :(
How often have we all done that.
