How to attach attachments?

I am trying to post for sale adverts with viewable photos, however I am struggling to attach photos to the post, can someone please assist?

Is this something to do with the User Control Panel?

Save the picture to a photo sharing site like flickr etc. then copy the images location and paste it into your post. using the hot buttons high lite your link and select Img. it will look like the below. Done
