I must say tha LOA is a excellent website. I'm new to wargaming getting a late start at 33 but have always enjoyed history/military history.
The period I always wanted to war game was the Pike and Shot/ECW era. However I always enjoyed the early modern period of the WSS. I did not really know about the Wars of the League of Augsberg and the Grand Alliance except for the Boyne.
Now after checking out this website over the pass few days I have discovered a perfect period to wargame. I believe it is a perfect blend of pike and shot with early modern battles. I have received a copy of ULB on email and can't wait to start to rasie regiments to try out the rules.
