Just received a promo copy of the new Annual compiled by Charles. Looks very nice indeed. The contributors are a selection of wargamers very well known to me but I was unaware of their involvement in providing material: Dale Smith, Angus K, Steve Rimmer, Stuart Asquith, CSG himself. Nice pictures of Bob Lauder's Viking ships in it too!
The type face appeared somewhat larger than normal mags and is very easy on the eye. Photo quality came our very well too.
No price on the cover so I can't say what you'd pay for it!

I loved the first two and will get the next and future ones. They make me feel like a kid again back in the seventies (cue dreamy-eyed drifting off into the ether.....), with the Wombles 1975 annual (which I still have [cough]) emerging from its wrapping paper as Bohemian Rhapsody dominated the charts, or one of the Rupert Bear offerings.....
Long live the Wargamers' Annual!
I also love the "Wargaming In History" series (if not the price...)

Went up to Caliver books today and bought it. I believe the advertised price is £16.50.
