Very good written!
Some of the last line are written like you were referring to the Saxon in the GNW
"...Unless surrender is the chosen Option, almost every fight must take place with some small hope of victory in the minds of the combatants."
My question would therefore be: Why they fought against the Swedes still if they didnt beleive that there may be a small chance for a victory...
