Just an update on our day at 'Hammerhead'.

First time at this show and what a good little show it was. The venue was very good (at the Newark Showground), lots of light and space for traders and gamers alike. The main theme was 'participation games' as opposed to 'demo games' - and a nice touch by the organisers for 'sales vouchers' to be won on a 'games played raffle' - so the more participation games you played the greater the number of raffle chances you had in the draw.

It was our first outing with the guys from Wargames Emporium (on their trade stand) and what a great and fun day we had with our 'new chums'!

Thanks for all of you that stopped by and had a chat/took catalogues/placed orders and purchased on the day - cheers - hope you are already gaming with your new toys!

You can catch our ranges next week at Wolverhampton so if you're planning to go to the show, please come and have a look.

I've just been informed that 'Campaign' (Milton Keynes) in May is not now going ahead..

We are at Salute in a couple of weeks time (on the Wargames Emporium stand) and I'll be personally manning the Adrian's Walls section of the stand...so please feel free to come and have a look at our buildings and terrain tiles...and stop for a chat.

The new Russian Bunkers are now out and having their first outing at the show along with a really nice 'Log Barricade Set' that would look good on a number of theatres/periods. They have only been out a week and people have already bought them to use for Great Northern War, AWI, ACW as well as the Eastern Front and Mannerheim Line/Winter War...!!!

We are just (today) producing the moulds for the new 1600-1700 28mm range of buildings and hope to have the Irish/Scottish Cofters Huts out for Salute. To go along with these buildings we also have a really aesthetic 'ragged walling set' to make a really rural village scene....

Gents

Photo from a keen Dark Age gamer who bought a limited edition Odin's Wrath from us at Salute. These ships come fully built in their 'pimp my boat' colourway and can only be purchased at a show we are attending.

The 2 ships available at Salute went before lunch and this customer has already ordered another 2 to be picked up at the Broadside Show in June. As a special for him we've agreed to do a couple of 'paint tweeks' to his 2 new boats so each of the 3 are very slightly different.

Looking forward to this weekend - we are at Triples (Sheffield).

I'm there on Saturday, helping out the guys from Wargames Emporium (who carry our ranges). You are welcome to pop along for a chat and have a sneak preview of our new Holy Land to Asia 28mm range of buildings. Personally I think they look at home for The Crusades through to North Africe (WWII), Afganistan and even India...

Gents

Looking forward to next weeks WAR-TORN show in Scarborough. We will have our new Holy Land to Asia range available and a 'mini-demo' game on the stand - similar to the photo...but with a lot more Crusaders and Saracens in attendence.

We will also be officially launching our 'Warhammer 40K' compatible range of buildings and oddities... at the show. Our TESLA COMMAND STATION and BLAST BARRICADES PACK will be available along with some demo pieces of our sprawling SLUDGE REFINERY - lots of storage tanks/pipework/valves. Some of this range would not look too out of place in Victorian Steampunk Gaming....

If you are going to War-Torn, please feel free to come take a look...

Cheers

Dave

Thanks for nice comments - and yes, there will be a mosque reserved for you - come and find me on the Wargames Emporium Stand. We are putting on a SAGA: Crescent & Cross demo game - although we have sold many of these buildings for North Africa and North West Frontier as well as for The Holy Land....! (hopefully this will change when Crescent & Cross is released).

I for one am looking forward to seeing this range in this eargerly awaited ruleset - the guys at Tomahawk say it has been very photogenic..

We've got some more items out in this range in approx 6 weeks time....

Cheers
