Partizan Interlude! Lots of Piccies- New Venue in the Park

Post by Atheling » Tue Jun 03, 2014 10:25 pm

Hi,

I actually managed against all the odds to make it down to Partizan on Sunday after it was looking like I certainly would not be able to make it- I'm very glad I did, the new venue was a lot lighter and felt nice and compact, the only problem being that of the heat as more and more wargamers gathered to share their perfume :) .

You can see many pics of some of the best games on my Just Add Water Blog here:

Here's a few tasters:

Great photos Darrell!
and it was a great surprise to see you at the show, I hope everthing's going OK?
I thought the show this year was back up to the very highest standards with so many fantastic looking games.
Cheers

I've just noticed this Dave so apologies - it seems I'm not receiving any notifications from the Fighting talk despite Barry changing my e-mail address  .

Well, first of all it was a stroke of genius to hold the show the the much more elucidating marquee's. Shame that this won't be the case in September down to the Great British Weather but I agree, the lighting was much better- you could see the games clearly, it wasn't too warm as it tends to get under tarp. and the quality of the games was indeed very high. I don't think I saw a game which didn't make me want to take pics but sadly I had until about lunchtime to get as much done as I could. I wish I'd got some shots of the Zulu War game but hey ho.

Great to see you, I didn't catch Barry- no doubt he was selling his wares and as I had limited time I was somewhat rushing about so missed him. no David this year I noticed too- always love to catch up with David and talk painting :) .
