Fantastic paintings!
In one of the diorama's of the interior of the defences that I found on another site it shows Russian Priests blessing the troops. That'll cheer up Bob

Sorry to disappoint you Dave, I have already had the pleasure !!
The link shows part of a diaorama view of the interior of the Malakoff whilst still in Russian hands, and the Priest depicted is exactly what I was havering on to Barry about. This particular section of the Panorama became my screensaver a number of years back. I found this through reference to it in the "Crimean War Research Society" journals - some really interesting material in there.

Hi Bob, it wasn't you I actually meant 'Toggy' Bob who is still trying to get over his experiences of Russian Priests from the Borodino games I just assumed you would know about the blessing at the redoubts.
Cheers

Yes it's all your bl**dy fault!
Your as bad a Hilton for getting me involved in yet another period although I have had an interest in this period for many years and my previous attempts of 15mm Turks currently reside in London but I'm much prefering my 28mm which is what I wanted to do in the first place plus the French are happily fitting into my FPW project.

Then I can look forward to the day Omar Pasha, when you lead me with a small British Cavalry contingent forward on an expeditionary force into hostile territory :? :? :? :? :? :?
OH OH -TOO much sun methinks Bob :D :D :D ; or not enough whiskey :P :P - could be either.
But then again, could be worse - could be D'almonville or Canrobert in command - and that would mean - Dale
