Hi,
well these are finally done. Small group of 7 40mm Naps British light infantry from the Perrys range. A bit different than my normal WWII painting but enjoyable. I used the new GW inks a lot on these. Brought the colours on the red and green jackets out well. Borwns also handy for the faces and brown trousers.

Heres the pics

Gazza,
The figures are exceptional and I wish I had your talent.
The only comment I would make is that the 87th. wasn't a light infanty regiment. The only light infantry regiment with green facings, (according to my info), was the 51st.
Sorry to be a pedant,
Dave.

Hi,
thanks for the comments. The GW inks were great help.

As for the 87th being light infantry I couldn't tell you for sure but the customer suppiled the figures, number and colour so its up to him.

Glad you liked them.

Hi,
had a word with the customer. They 87th were a line regiment but they did have a light company and these figres are from that company.

thanks
