Mahdist flesh colours

I am looking to do a couple of small armies for Peter Pigs "Patrols in the Sun" rules.
So I need to paint some Ansar (Nile arabs?) and some Beja (fuzzy wuzzies)
Now I like using Vallejo paints and will be using a white undercoat with strong tone Army painter. Has any one any recommendations for flesh colours. Non Vallejo ideas are also welcome. (as long as I do not need to go to a Art shop)
Oh the figures will be 15mm and if I like the games (or perry plastics come out) I will move into 25mm
