B squadron of the 8th Hussars, Normandy.

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

B squadron of the 8th Hussars, Normandy.

Post by big-gazza » Mon May 30, 2011 8:45 pm

Hi,
just completed a new Cromwell Company, B squadron of the 8th Hussars.

2nd Cromwell company I've painted within a year.

This is the armoured recce company but I have also painted up some Fireflys and Challengers so that you can use this company using a couple of different lists. Got a couple of hatches the wrong way round but I can fix them.

Well on with the pics.

Wicked!

How did you do the Hessian on the Cromwells?

Hi,
thanks for the comments.

The models are all Battlefront and are for Flames o War.

The hessian strips are all part of the model as is about half of the stowage. The rest are Skytrex.

Would be good to get a game Barry. Havnt been down to StMarks yet.

Wont be able to use these as they are getting sent to Germany this week.

Thanks

Lovely stuff. Can't say anything else - too busy drooling...
