The raising of the Saxon Army 1699-1712

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

Gunter,
The troopers look awesome. I was looking on my Saxon cavalry, I'm still in need of few more horse units...this is very inspiring...again.

If you send a pic or link on the "sidecutter", that would be great for comparison.

Thanks.

Oh, wire cutters...they look a bit heavy duty. Gotcha, I have a pair, will give them a go.

Thanks.

Thanks.
They do look a bit heavy for dealing with small figures the ones I use come from jewellery suppliers and can cut quite fine.

Gunter,

these BIG cavalry units are getting me excited. I am considering some 'optional mechanisms' for BLB to accommodate the use of larger Foot and Horse units.

You rascal!!!

Does Gunter even know what "rascal" means Barry?
