League Of Augsburg - Fighting Talk

Hi,

This version of Jean Poton de Xaintrailles was painted a good while ago for a client and was a a pleasure to paint- I'm much more used to painting stuff on the scale of Perry Miniatures these days, but more about that on the blog. Jean Poton de Xaintrailles was a bit of a giant of the Hundred Year War although you may not have heard much about him from an English perspective!

Besides, there seems to be a small error on your blog as there are white bars in the sentence:
...as Jargeau, Meung-sur-Loire, Beaugency and and more famously at Patay. He was in command at the Siege of Compiegne.

It is possible that it is my Web Browser but when I copy and paste the words to a word doc the parts invisible or hidden by a white bar show up in a different type of fonts. In my case Arial (red)

It should be fixed now guys. Please let me know if it's still playing up .

I wouldn't fret about it too much Darrell - it is still there, although much less so. Looks to me like you've got some errant coding producing a white text highlight block over white text. If I run my cursor over the text and highlight everything myself (in blue) I can see what's 'underneath'. Text below with spaces and characters I can see as white blocks indicated between the red square brackets. (I'm using Chrome)

None of which detracts from your excellent painting!

Thanks. I've tried to remedy it again. Hopefully it is now sorted out.
