Folks,

we said despatch within 10 days of the 25th. Should receive the books Tuesday morning so preorders will go out immediately on receipt.

ok, now in the hands of the respective national postal services. As a bell weather it would be good to hear when people are receing their books so that others can rest assured/fidgit as required!

Hope you all enjoy!

Got my copy this morning. Discovered the postie had bent it right over to force it through our letterbox, despite the huge "PLEASE DO NOT BEND" on the envelope.

Fortunately the book is fine, and it is fantastic. :D

Well done Barry and Clarence.

3 now Barry. I rang home to see if it had arrived. From what my wife said it got the same treatment by our beloved postal service as mentioned above.

Look forward to reading and playing.

Hooray!!! Mine arrived this morning, but it was ripped open!! Luckily no damage that I can see, there were two separate quick ref sheets. Is that what I was supposed to get?
Looks great by the way :D :D :D :D :D

Received mine in excellent condition today.

First impressions on opening: Smells Great!

Barry,

Thanks for the dedication on the inside cover saying that I "...play wargames like a Count" but, you really need to watch your spelling.

I must also say that this has to be the most successful book you and Clarence have produced so far in that, it has been on the market for over twelve hours now and no one has been sharpe enough to attempt to re-write it.

Regards,

Jim

re-write.......wait till it gets reviewed on TMP, or even better, reviewd in MW by someone who hasn't read it all, played on a table 2'x2' with 54mm scale figures for half an hour etc etc.....eh Barry

Look forward to getting mine and me son's copies tomorrow (I hope). Already had Mr Shearwood asking me if I got mine yet, as he works for UPS, I told him he should be used to delays

Sigh...

I must admit I am more than a little envious of you chaps. I won't be able to get my own copy until August, unfortunately, so could one of you be kind enough to post a review...including pics? (Barry, would you allow them to do so?)

And when I write "review" I do not need to know if you like it...I already expect that you do, rather I would like a contrast between 1st edition and 2nd edition, so I might have an idea of what I can look forward to.

I am sure such a write up would benefit far more lads than just myself.

At least, I have time to paint up a few battalions before August. :)
