Artillery Shooting Query

So, I know how to fire artillery in BLB and BLBv2, new target, need a "10", next turn same target, adjust the D10 for the roll. Now, I was just thumbing through the BLBv2 rule booklet today, and was reading over the example on shooting on page 34. In the example, it mentions ...on a subsquent turn if the gun stays with the same target in the same range bracket...So my query is, if my target gets closer in a closer range bracket, I need to throw "10's" again? Even if I been targeting the same unit for the last several turns?

Not sure if this was brought up before, just a lil surprised.

Thanks.

I would say no, or more correctly, that's not how we've been playing it. We go back to D10 only if a new target.

I thought it was you only roll 10's when you fire at a new target.

Yep. Only revert to 10's on a new target.

Everyone is correct that you only roll 10's for a new target but if you switch from one target to fire at another then switch back to the original target then it would be classed as a new target.

All agreed on rolling a "10". But, just wanted clarification on the example in book...Barry
