The Boyne - Oldbridge Village as a BUA

Gents,

What would you consider Oldbridge Village on the Boyne as a BUA in BtLB2, 1B, 2B?

Thanks,
Edward

Edward,
Dave O'Brien and I have spent a lot of time making decisions on what something is ie 1B , 2B, 3A etc. The book section on BUA is given as a guideline using easy to understand stuff like size and construction. The extra thought dimension is:
What actually happened and howdifficult was it to take... if that was put to the test on the day of the battle.
Oldbridge was hotly contested. It was small (apparently) but seemed to cause the Williamites some bother. Using this information the process (for me) would follow this route:

Small, poorly constructed therefore a 1B BUT..
history shows its position and the fight made it significant in the battle therefore, revise rating to 2B.

As a comparable example when we refight Borodino 9and we have done 4 times now in various guises) the Raevsky or Great redoubt, despite being a field fortification constructed in less than 1 day, is rated as a 2B BUA simply because of its position and the bother the French had taking it.

Hope this makes sense.
