Apologies if this has been asked before but I couldn't find any reference while trawling through the topics.
As clarified previously Dragoons test morale as Cavalry when mounted and Infantry when dismounted.
However a situation cropped up in a game the other week which did prompt a debate.
A 2 squadron Dragoon regiment had dismounted and and formed a 2 stand dismounted dragoon unit.
This unit was then routed, the question that came up is should this prompt a morale test for any unit in range?
One point was that it was just dismounted cavalry and therefore should not prompt a test as routing cavalry don't, the other was that as it was dismounted it counts as a foot unit and routing foot should prompt a test.
Any help gratefully received
Thanks
