HELLO PLAYTESTERS - OPINION REQUIRED PLEASE!

Post by barr7430 » Tue Mar 16, 2010 3:05 pm

There is a proposal that the THREADING rules for cavalry combat be included in the optional rules section.

Can you let me know your thoughts..

Main rules or
Optional rules

thanks

Optional.

I appreciate the historical application of the term but on the table it could cause un-needed situations that would require additional explanation.

I think of all rules as "optional" so I wouldn't mind keeping it where it is.

Hi we had no problem with the part about rerolling the combat from scratch in the event of a first round draw. It was the moving around of the figures and what followed next we did not like.

So if the rerolling bit can stay in the main rules that would be good. The rest we would say should be optional.

Right using the term that the horse 'threaded' and re-rolling is fine. It's the physical swapping of positions that should be optional.
