Flintlocks and Matchlocks

Gentlefolk,
I realise that the rules differentiate between Platoon and Rank firing and that there are probably enough modifiers already but, what about the difference between a Matchlock and a Flintlock? Would there be enough of a difference to warrant them being treated differently in the rules?
