The Mad Baron!

Post by barr7430 » Mon Nov 28, 2005 10:25 am

Does anyone remember an article in Wargames Illustrated a few years ago about the Mad Baron & his Army? It would probably have been around the time that Back of Beyond was being heavily punted in the Mag with lots of rules, articles adverts etc. I can't find the damn thing and I am now modelling this force for the next LoGW bash. Any idea which issue??

Many thanks

Barry

Hi Barry,

I found an article on the "Mad Baron" Von Ungern-Sternberg and his Mongolian campaign in WI 78 in the RED back issues CD. It's by a chap called Chris Peers. If you don't have it then you soon will! :D

Regards

Paul

Does this mean that instead of a Mad Baron's army we're now going to have to suffer a Mad Barry's army?

Cheers
Dave

ps; I'm finding it hard waiting for March.
