Do any of you gents know if the Glengarry as worm in the Crimea had a diced band?
I thought that it would be reasonably easy to find out but well ......

AM IN NO POSITION TO BE AUTHORATATIVE ON THIS JIM(BUT WHEN HAS THAT STOPPED ME IN THE PAST :lol: ) Dave Andrews has painted a diced band on the glengarry's of his 92nd at Balaklava though!

Jim, I found an image of Robert Gibb's painting "Letters from Home", depicting two officers of the Sutherland Highlanders in the Crimea, clearly depicting a diced band band:

And another black & white photo of the 93rd from the Crimea seems to confirm Gibb:
