Thanks Dave, The pictures are new to me but the copies of the booksites I know because I have the book :wink: The last picture is from Dan Schorr's work. Have that too :D

The is a interesting line in the description of what the Saxon Elector Georg III. ordered "....to leave the pikes at home and have the complete Regiments supplied with muskets" And that order was made as early as 1683 :!:
The "Entsatzheer/relief force" has about 37.000 Infantry and 43.000 Cavalry! That seems not to be much if one looks at the estimated strenght of the Turks of 200.000 men :shock:

There is also a funny part but that I will tell at another time :wink:
