Now I could be wrong Gunter so I tenetively await an avalanche of contradiction  but I think square edge horse funtiture is ok which will mean we don't need to further modify horse furniture. Interestingly, the evolution of cavalry in this period meant that armoured generally morphed to non armoured so the cuirassiers were not 'created' rather made extinct or more accurately, rarified although many nations phased them out to phase them in again.
Short answer... I think no change in horse furniture

Thank You my Friend.
I didnt realy expect that there would be different saddle cloth styles and I can live with that. I thought about the styles while reading about the Saxon Army after their last reform under August's reign 1730.

So let's lean back and wait for the arrivel of the Order Codes

Barry,

On your 9/17 TMP post on the cuirassiers you said you had "a standard lance with finials and cords." Will this be available for use with other cavalry types?

Yes Dannie it will. I just got home late last night and the second batch including standard lance with cords were waiting for me. I have a day to 'proof' 55 minis and get them to the caster before nother 2 week jaunt.

Progress on GNW after that. I will pick up the subscription idea and push it forward as I have 2 weeks leave planned without family(packed off to the sun) in October... Wargaming party at my house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this about covers it... more Horse to come though!!!!

I think you will have more cuirassiers in this range than all of the other companies offering models for the period combined!

Despite the controversies, I will definitely be using some for my Danes and mix in some with my Jacobite Lifeguard!

Almost perfect but can we have some cantering & trotting horses, for the pistol armed variants at least :)

However more seriously just keep up the good work & I will be very happy, all I need now it the time to paint a load & the cash to buy them.

I'm sure you'll still get some smart - moaning that there is some special curassier that you missed.

I have spent most of yesterday and today assembling 66 cuirassier models, giving them a quick blak wash and then photographing them on both standing and galloping horses.
This provides 44 sets with all of the combinations of armour and clothing position and horses.
Too tired to post up the pix tonight but I will post them all tomorrow together with a detailed description per photograph of what you are actually looking at.
Production moulds should begin this week I hope which means they will be ready to offer within a couple of weeks after that.

The models are lovely and the combinations pretty mind boggling. The range will cover every cuirassier option from about 1675 to 1720 so will allow WSS army production as well as GNW Saxons and other German states. Of course, Imperialist options are in there as well as Bavarians. The front cuirass only is perfect for Danes and the hat option allow Skane Wars as well as later GNW/WSS.
English from Tangier/Sedgemoor through to Malplaquet too.

Now I am even more confused and uncertain than before what figures to use :?
