When did the danes start to use the tricorne

Post by Gunfreak » Wed Oct 21, 2015 7:53 pm

I'm wondering if the warfare figures can be used as danes in the GNW, or if the front rank danes are more appropriate?
They are very diffrent sculpts.

Ebor would fit better but they don't make danes (double breasted coat)

While Warafare figures are perfectly fine for the NYW, they don't have double-breasted coats. As far as the tricorne is concerned, my guess is that it was gradually introduced in the early 1700s.

Thanks, yes I found some plates of WSS danish. And the WSS coat and tricorne was used by 1700.
