Herr General,
Your Saxon horde is critical to our successful weekend although not all of the Infantry is necessary. It will be nice to see them but if it makes things easier for you.. only 16 battalions are required for our scenario.
You of course can choose who attends. If you wish to blood some fresh troops then we can see new banners in the inevitable welter of photographs which I will take. If you wish for some heroes of Klissow to gain further glory then please bring Pistoris and the other brave Saxons!
If you can let me have the names of the regiments then I will contstruct the brigade rosters in advance. Those Imperialist 'tourists' may well fin themselves fighting in Flanders and not in Livonia! You have six squadrons already painted?????

Colin, are you bringing your Huguenots?
Yes I'll be bringing them along. It'll be the three foot regiments, Schomberg's Horse, maybe a gun (if I get it based in time) and of course loads and loads of officers!

Eventually You can take over my Saxon Chevalier Garde as those are a Squadron of 180 Officers
Chevaliergarde
On July 30th, 1703 the Chevaliergarde was created. This unit was similar to the Swedish Drabants. It was an elite unit of squadron strength, 180 men, organized in three “brigades” in which all personnel held officer’s rank.
and their Religion depends only on the amount of money they receive

Splendid! As the Swedish horde is increasing it may be necessary to commit a few more Saxon battalions and squadrons!

Günter
Safe journey Gunter and I look forward to meeting you at the weekend game, I'm not long back from the hotel which is where the Dumfries club hosted their annual show today and the LOA Donnybrook game caused a lot of interest.
Cheers
Dave

Hello all.
Unfortunately I am going to have to withdraw from the Dumfries weekender. My mother is very ill & I've had to change my whole schedule.
I hope to see you all at the "Aughrim Event" or in Derby later in the year.
Paul.
